So, like, um, I've been meaning to do a proper blog on the lunches available on the West Bank of New Orleans forever.
Today, I've decided to start with a few caveats.
First: Some of the people I happen to dine with are complete idiots with absolutely no palate whatsoever. Therefore, when dining with them, I intend to let you know what they thought of their food and advise you to pretend like it's opposite day.
Second: There will be more revisits to restaurants than most food blogs. This is because I'm trapped on the West Bank and my stomach needs to be treated properly at least three times a week.
Third: There will so many Vietnamese restaurants in this blog that one might believe I was holed up in Saigon. Sadly, no. I will be reporting from Harvey, Westwego and downtown Gretna.
